Requirements
- Node.js 18 or later
- npm (comes with Node.js)
Installation
Install the CLI globally using npm:
npm install -g openclaw
Verify Installation
After installation, verify it works by checking the version:

You should see the version number printed, e.g., openclaw/1.x.x.
tip
If you get a "command not found" error, make sure your npm global bin directory is in your system's PATH. You can find it by running npm bin -g.
